Abstract
This guide provides an overview of Electronic Resources (ER), a collective term encompassing a wide array of electronic information resources available online, including electronic books, journals, databases, and tools supporting study, teaching, and research. The guide explains ER's role within Charles University's educational framework and aims to equip its users with the knowledge to effectively locate, access, and utilize CU's ER, providing tips for a seamless experience and advice for handling potential issues. It also outlines the diversity and scope of ER as a whole, explaining their nature and location within various digital libraries, repositories and other hosting platforms, and discusses specific access options which may vary due to licensing and copyright restrictions.
