Nazi-Raubkunst; Restitution und Provenienzforschung in Tschechien

Abstract

In dem Vortrag wird dem Publikum, das mit dem Thema nicht vertraut ist, die Problematik vom Nazi-Raubkunst in Tschechien nahegebracht. Nach einem kurzen historischen Überblick, in dem die maßgeblichen Ereignisse der s.g. Zeit der Unfreiheit erwähnt werden, konzentriert sich die Autorin auf die Problematik der Restitution in der Zeit zwischen 1945 und 1948 und in der Gegenwart.

In the lecture the audience is introduced to the problems of Nazi Looted Art in the Czech Republic. After a short historical overview, in which the essential events of the so-called "time of oppression" are mentioned, the author focuses on the problem of restitution in the period between 1945 and 1948 and in the present time.
