Editorial: 30 years of research on adult education, 30 years of ESREA

Abstract

Editorial for a thematic special issue of the European Journal for Research on the Education and Learning of Adults (RELA) is focused on the 30rd anniversary of the existence of ESREA - European Society for Research on the Education of Adults. The editors introduce the central theme of the issue and its relevance, they focus mainly on development of adult education research in Europe during last three decades. Than the articles in this special issue are shortly introduced.
