Proměny hlavního průčelí Richtrova domu jako příklad vztahu památkové péče k dědictví své vlastní minulosti

Abstract

Článek přináší zamyšlení nad aktuální praxí průzkumu barevnosti fasád historických objektů, a to i na základě zkušenosti získané při realizaci průzkumu tohoto typu na hlavním průčelí tzv. Richtrova domu na Malém náměstí v Praze na Starém Městě. V první části textu nabízí autorka článku detailní pohled na průběh samotného průzkumu. Máme možnost nejen nahlédnout do toho, jakým způsobem byly použity dostupné zdroje informací, ať už se jedná o samotné sondy nebo materiály shromážděné v rámci archivního průzkumu, ale i posoudit relevantnost následné interpretace získaných poznatků. V druhé části textu se autorka pokouší o objektivní zhodnocení stávající praxe provádění těchto průzkumů a jejích možných dopadů na výsledky. V závěrečné části článku se pak v dané souvislosti zabývá ještě otázkou, jaké postavení má ve společnosti, která byla Janem Kellerem nedávno označena jako "společnost věčného mládí", hodnota stáří, jak ji kdysi definoval Alois Riegl.

The article presents a reflection on the current practice of surveying the color of the facades of historical buildings, also based on the specific experience gained during the implementation of this type of research on the main facade of the so-called Richter's House on Malé náměstí in Prague's Old Town. We have the opportunity not only to look into how the available sources of information were used, whether it is the probes themselves or the materials collected in the archival research, but also to assess the relevance of the subsequent interpretation of the findings. In the second part of the text, the author attempts an objective assessment of the current practice of conducting these surveys and its possible influence on the results. In the final part of the article, the value of old age, as once defined by Alois Riegl, is discussed in the context of the society recently described by Jan Keller as "the society of eternal youth".
