Co oko nevidí na Jüttnerově glóbu z roku 1839

Abstract

Příspěvek se zabýval popisem, digitalizací a zpřístupněním starého glóbu od Josefa Jüttnera z roku 1839, který pochází z depozitáře jedné z nejvýznamnějších středoevropských sbírek. Cílem autorů bylo připravit postup pro zpřístupnění metadat a 3D modelů glóbů nové virtuální sbírky pro Mapovou sbírku Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy.Byl proveden unikátní popis glóbu a z bibliografického popisu byla vytvořena nová (uživatelská) metadata, která poskytují informace o glóbu a jeho 3D modelu. Metadata a 3D model zeměkoule byly propojeny a zpřístupněny široké veřejnosti na stránce glóbů Mapové sbírky Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy.

The post dealt with the description, digitization and opening of the old globe by Josef Jüttner from 1839, which comes from the depository of one of the most important Central European collections. The aim of the authors was to prepare the procedure for making the metadata available and 3D models of the new virtual collection for the Map collection of the Faculty of Science, Charles University.It was made a unique description of the globe and it was created a new (user) metadata from the bibliographic description to provide information about the globe and its 3D model. The metadata and the 3D model of the globe have been connected and made available to the general public on the globe page of the Map collection of the Faculty of Science, Charles University.
