Within the broader framework of curriculum reform and changes in education in the Czech Republic, the author examines the collaboration between teachers and artists in formal education and the possibilities of this collaboration for the development of creative pedagogical practice. It explores the adaptation of artistic practices, techniques and approaches to the context of teaching in formal education to develop pupils' creativity. She asks: 1. How does collaboration with artists develop the creative practice of teachers? 2. What artistic practices and approaches can be adapted into teaching to develop creativity? The research project has the character of a multi-case study. In this paper, the author presents the preliminary results of qualitative research of the first case of teacher-artist collaboration informed by the findings of selected international studies. The research is part of the author's dissertation project.en
